Fisher is an awakened bear. He had been awakened several years ago by an Elven Druid named Ardolas as a reward for keeping wolves from killing him and his animal companions. He hasn't seen Ardolas since that time, and very few others who he would trust. He awaits Ardolas' return, sure that the druid will need his help again some day, and he feels like he owes him that.

When Fisher is first met, he won't approach. Any obvious intention of friendliness towards him will have Fisher approaching to say hi. He is very chatty, often mentioning his solitary life in Eryn Dur and lack of other bears to talk to.

Fisher loves to go swimming and fish in the Soranen River that runs from the far north of Eryn Dur through to the Glanathil Mountains.

Fisher isn't exactly a guardian of the forest, but he is nosy and likes to tell people when he finds something out of place. He doesn't go into town much, but there are the people of the forest that know him and will listen to him without problems.

Improved Grab (Ex)

To use this ability, a brown bear must hit with a claw attack. It can then attempt to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity.
