Blood Desert (Eru Yor)
The red desert lands of the Kingdom of Yngoldis that stretch far to the north of Ra'azum and all the way west to Tawar-Nur.
Inhabitants
The inhabitants of the Blood Desert are the Janati, goblins, giant scorpions, some few elves, mining dwarves, and there are rumors of djinn.
Description
The Blood Desert is so called because of the red tint to the soil and mountains due to the high levels of iron. There is also plenty of granite, and precious minerals, such as gold. These earthy resources add a nice feature to the Kingdom of Yngoldis and is a great reason why it was claimed by the Efrishar who colonized this area as well as the elves they displaced.
Area
It ranges from the northern borders of the Kingdom of Yngoldis, where the land starts to roll with grassy hills and sparse trees, to the waterline of the Bay of Londfolas. From the east, it starts at the sea and follows all the way through until it hits the lands of Tawar-Nur. The western side of the Blood Desert can have heavy rain falls, causing that area to be extremely muddy at times, as well as being prone to flooding and mudslides.
