Elf, Underground (Drow)

Drow come from the Underground, the lands below Elwindil, in subterranean cities. Drow can be found throughout the continent, but especially underground dwellings. A rumor exists that the Drow have found an underground passage between the mountains of Nuoril and Glanithil.

The Drow are a reclusive race, preferring to live in the shadows and away from the bright lights of the above ground world. They have a matriarchal society, with the highest-ranking female known as the Matron Mother leading the community. Drow are known for their agility, stealth, and mastery of magic, making them formidable foes.

Despite their reputation for cruelty and deceit, not all Drow are evil. Some choose to leave their underground cities and live among the other races of Elwindil, seeking a new life and a chance to escape the harsh society they were born into. However, they are often met with suspicion and distrust by the above ground races, who view them as dangerous and unpredictable.
