Shayeed, May, and Lia have been traveling together for some time. Shayeed enjoys following May and Lia around and documenting their adventures.
Shayeed is the law giver for the caravan. The people of the caravan are accustomed to hearing his pronouncements on his rulings. Shayeed is a low-key follower of their faith, especially concerned with the Traveler-focused endeavor of documenting and spreading lore and knowledge. He cannot be, nor is he interested in, being true neutral. Because of his interests and being around the Traveler religion for so long, he is an accepted member. A cleric by the name of Herbert travels with him. Shayeed owns a wagon and maintains a place in the caravan as one who sells books and collectibles.
May is a Drow bounty hunter. She rides a Dire Mole named Nala. Lia is a Eryn Durian elf Ranger. She travels with a hawk named Hia. She is focused on caring for common folk, defending them from evil.
The caravan is ran by Loriewin, an Erugwaithi elf. She runs the caravan with an iron fist and has no qualms enforcing her own laws. Her caravan is more disciplined than other caravans because of this.
The caravan entered the sarai of Ra'azum that is situated in the Gate District. The Loriewin caravan was the only one currently in the caravansarai. The party arrived with the others in the caravan. They saw that two groups of ratfolk, those of Roosh's company (Zainj and Joda, as well), and those of Suwak's company (including Yalah). The two groups bickered on their way to the third floor, where most caravanners stay. Shayeed and May stayed with Shayeed's wagon. Lia went to the third floor. She saw Roosh's company there in one of the barrack rooms. Upon seeing the party, they decided they needed to stay somewhere more secure, so rented a room on the second floor to themselves. Lia stayed on the third floor. Shayeed and May stayed with Shayeed's wagon.
- Lia saw Suwak's company chasing after Roosh's, wondering where they were going, muttering something about "see what happens tomorrow morning" - Lia warned her party. They came to investigate. May stayed with Lia across from their room - Shayeed dressed up as cat-batman and broke into Roosh's company's room. Cast on them to make them tell him about the chest - Shayeed triggered a trap on the chest, a fireball that killed all of Roosh's company and set the room on fire - Entire caravan came out to find out what was going on. - Shayeed snuck out back window of room and came around to courtyard of caravansarai to blend in - Shayeed announced an investigation that he began to carry out to cover up that he was the one who caused it - Loriewin took particular interest, had Suwak and Yalah taken into custody - Loriewin told Shayeed to conduct investigation - Shayeed tried questioning Suwak and Yalah and in the process, learned how useless the caravan guards could be - Loriewin killed Suwak and Yalah, and asked that May and Lia investigate the original buyers - Original buyer was Farook Ma'Faz, who was recently killed. His children, Faiz and Ibisi, would now be they buyers - After a long night that flowed into the next day, the party decided to go to bed
