• By happenstance, everyone was at the edge of the forest
• Everyone noticed a burning treant far into the moors that bordered the Living Forest
• The doctor quickly locked her caravan, as the ragtag group rushed to help a fellow forest creature
• Tess rushed ahead of the group, barely containing her barbaric rage when it became clear that goblins had set the treant ablaze
• June Berry set a long range entangle at the feet of two goblins and the goblin dog, all of who turned their attention from the treant to the running party
• "Tree" and Tess attacked the feral goblin dog, killing it quickly
• The rest of the goblins began to approach the monk and barbarian
• "Tree" grappled and killed two of the goblins, while Tess beat them to death with her club
• June, noticing the treant was still on fire, used create water to put out his flames
• Mamori shot and killed a goblin
• The monk and barbarian made short work of the remaining goblins
• The ranger searched the bodies
• The doctor finally approached, helping the druid to heal the injured party and doused treant
• The ranger retrieved gold, passing it out "evenly", and found a jar of a healing ointment she gave to the doctor in exchange for a later favor
• The druid asked the treant why he was out here alone, to which he told the party that he thought his fellow patrolman was right behind him...but he must not have followed
• The ranger, having searched the dog body, broke out in a rash
• The doctor used the found ointment to heal the rogue, hoping it would work
• It did
• The party decided to head back into the forest to track the missing treant, the druid's badger Mustard leading the search
• They sang a song about John, the Infamous Treant of whom we all share a name, on the long and slow road there
• On the way, they questioned three more patrolmen that were heading out, but didn't find much information from them
• The party eventually followed the tracks to a dead treant - his body covered in a spore-like material
• The party deliberated on what to do about the spores for a while, while the doctor took a sample, and then sprayed some of the ointment onto the tree
• The spores seemed to fall off and die, which led the doctor to believe this was no longer a biohazard
• Mustard and June found a vial that was figured to be of human make that contained some of the original spores
• Mustard tracked the footprints leading out of the forest - seemingly leading to the nearby human town
• "Tree" talked to the treants of the area, telling them to let the Ancient one know about what happened and the powder that's killings things
