Borders: Greygloom Swamp Part of: Tarnwic On the road between Tarnwic and County of Tyr, there is an old inn on the shore of Lake Grey. The inn has been there for around 50 years and acts as a hub for trappers, traders, and anyone who makes a living on the lake. Behind the inn, a beach full of row boats and coracles leads to rows of canvas tents, pelts and skins, fish drying racks, and clotheslines. Plenty of these woodsman can be found outside and inside the inn.

Around the inn are a couple of small houses, a small market stand. A heavily damaged temple of Traveler sits next to a dug up graveyard; the fencing around the graveyard are torn down. On the other side of the road is a farm with livestock and a garden.

Events The Tyr Road around the Greygloom Swamp area has become dangerous lately. Travelers are getting robbed. The robberies - how they happen - are unusual. It starts with a heavy mist that's hard to see through, then voices chanting, and sometimes fire. The victims are given a choice: leave everything you own on the road or die! Old Garm's coracle was found adrift on the southern side of the Grey Lake. It was empty - no Garm, no furs, nothing. Buck's boat washed to shore just the other day with no Buck or anything else inside. The traders are beginning to wonder about what beast is in the lake. Everyone is hopeful: the Grey Lake Company is coming out again to recruit skilled traders. They pay well and often have non-furring jobs to be done, as well. Elle needs supplies and is always happy to buy them off of passers-by. Mostly, she is looking for barrels of ale and wheat for bread. Most everything else she buys from the farm across the road or the traders themselves. Some trappers believe that there are elves in the forest around the inn keeping an eye on them lately. Suela said she saw them herself, and they looked evil to her. She saw them on the shore, with black cloaks, and what looked to be bone armor. They saw her, as well, and fired a couple of arrows at her that she was able to block with her most recent catch, a large beaver, as she paddled away. She still has the arrows.
